The acronym A.R.T., created by Birth Practice, serves as a helpful device to prompt important questions you can ask anytime a test, intervention or course of action is suggested.
A.R.T. will help you understand your options, make informed choices, and nurture a positive relationship with your caregivers. In most situations, there is plenty of time to think through and process each decision, and doing so, whenever possible, is key to experiencing a regret-free, positive birth.
